I bought one a few years ago that would not charge right out of the bucket. I brought it in to Marcum as I bought it online and they repaired it. No problems for 2 years and now the charge works sporadically and quit working completely. I ordered up a new charger and surprise it is $45.00, talk about expensive. I like their equipment but I get tired of having to visit them every winter when something goes to pot or replace their cheap parts that are extremely overpriced.

Both of my chargers have frayed where the wire meets the brick that goes into the wall. Pretty frustrated with the quality there.
February 10, 2015 at 3:57 am #1509383Ok, I thought they mentioned in their promotional video for the 4.07 update that it added those colors. Please disregard my previous post.
February 10, 2015 at 3:49 am #1509381I have the pancam and love the video quality, light control, wifi to an iPad or smart phone, ability to take pictures and videotape. Like everyone else my panning motor is virtually useless. I really only use it to see bottom composition and to verify what fish are in the area at a given time. I just rotate it by hand, but if a motor upgrade comes up I would gladly take it.
February 10, 2015 at 3:42 am #1509379I had a bad transducer which was covered by the 2 year warranty. I thought the 6 color pallet was new to the latest update on another note.
February 10, 2015 at 3:39 am #1509377Thanks Ben! I only see one iffy spot on one of the perspective lakes on our list. I think I might call the dnr in that area for a little more info about trails joining forest roads. It should be an adventure at least. We want to try some less pressured lakes and try trout through the ice for the first time.
February 9, 2015 at 2:23 pm #1509101Thanks for the update Allan, that answers my questions from the thread I started. Did you get back on the trails at all and will an ATV do on those and the lakes?
February 9, 2015 at 10:31 am #1509005I have had similar issues after the update. I have reloaded the softeware 3 times and finally sent the unit into Versa. Keeping my fingers crossed that I get it back in time for a trip I have planned.
February 4, 2015 at 1:07 pm #1507050I have a longboard noodle that splintered when I was reeling in some crappies one night. I was basically told that it was something I did. There is a place to put your hook on the rod, but you are not suppose to use it??? He glued it back together and I hope it works, but have not used it yet. I know what you guys mean when you mention the attitude and the warranty does not seem to be worth anything. I will go elsewhere next time. I have purchased 4 rods for myself and 2 for some friends in the last year. So I was hoping he would take that into consideration when looking at my splintered longboard noodle.
