I just bought a striker predator suit this year at the ice show and love it!! its lightweight, fits perfect and has more pockets then I know what to use them for. also like how it has vents i can open so i dont get too hot! I have also tested it in the coldest weather this winter and have yet to get cold.

January 2, 2014 at 8:54 am #1376044I just bought the striker predator and LOVE it!!fits great and is very warm even in below zero conditions! I had the vexilar ice suit before and that suit doesnt compare to the striker!
December 16, 2013 at 8:51 am #1371702I own both a sled style and hub style shelter. the hub style is great for weight, I can carry it on my back like a back pack and easily fits in my suv. the main draw back is wind. if its windy it is a pain to put up especially if alone. but with an extra hand or 2 it is easier. having to anchor it down and also the windward hub side can take some time. portability is also a draw back. With the sled style just grab the rope and go. it take a little more to move especially if its windy. I have the eskimo fatfish 949 so love how roomy it is! I can walk around and stretch. especially when i take the kids along. if I had a truck i would get a bigger sled style, but it is nice to pack light and be comfortable as well. price is also a plus!

December 10, 2012 at 1:02 am #1119029now one question on the marcum. can you use one next to a vexilar?? I have heard it gives the vexilar tons of interference?? I like the marcum and hesitant on buying one because of that.
November 17, 2012 at 10:18 pm #1113077I buy them in bulk too. I have the large bait puck from strike master that I keep them in. and keep them in the refrigerator. They die if they get warm so keep them refrigerated! I use them up before they die!
