Great pics, thanks for sharing. Black bears are so much like big dogs, all about food.

Might fish the Mississippi River opening weekend around Elk River here. Heading north the Wednesday after opener. Either Outing MN or Lake Vermillion, haven’t decided yet.
April 13, 2024 at 11:01 pm #2267170I use a cotton net that my dad bought in the 60s. Doesn’t split the fins, easy to untangle.
April 13, 2024 at 10:53 pm #2267169Life will go on as usual here in Minnesota. Unless you’re retired and glued to the TV. The Middle East has been a mess for thousands of years.
January 12, 2024 at 8:56 pm #2247206Regular cab with an 8ft bed for me. All I’ve ever owned and will in the future as long as they’re available.
December 2, 2023 at 8:19 pm #2239717Nice gun, weedis. I’ve got the same one minus the scope, open sights here. What type of powder are you using that you had a mishap? I use white hot pellets.
November 2, 2023 at 11:03 pm #2234040178 here also, Mark. Just north of Meadowlands. Definitely agree with your assessment.
June 10, 2023 at 10:49 pm #2207650I’m near Elk River MN. Gotta be close to a month without measure able rain here. And of course today with the system moving through, we didn’t see a drop.
October 28, 2022 at 6:55 pm #2155607Watching the weather here as well. I hunt near Cotton MN. I also see a cold front around opening day. I sure hope so.
May 6, 2022 at 3:14 pm #2122362Ebners in Elk River was a great classic bait shop, unfortunately closed now. Current picks would be In Towne Marina, Delaneys, and Wayside Corner north of Cloquet.
January 2, 2022 at 12:19 am #2086007I’d imagine once the resorts open up for vehicle traffic, some reports will show up. But I agree, very quiet on this ML forum
December 23, 2021 at 6:05 pm #2083972Looking forward to the “regular” 20 or so posters on IDO for this one.
November 27, 2021 at 8:39 pm #2076980Dutch with his head in the sand…no can’t be, lol. Sometimes he should just stfu. But he’s a member of the good ol boys IDO club
November 27, 2021 at 7:07 pm #2076954Roosevelt is not a lake to mess with early ice, even the upper portion.
November 27, 2021 at 7:05 pm #2076953For somebody that supposedly doesn’t care, you sure seem to chime in Dutch. Two cents at a time
December 12, 2020 at 8:23 pm #1996735Bottom line..Red Lake is a zoo. Social media fans the flames of that dumpster fire. But hey, more quiet ice for the rest of us.
December 5, 2020 at 5:16 pm #1994366Sounds good, Joe. I was more curious about Roosevelt to be specific. It’s a deep lake
November 27, 2020 at 5:52 pm #1991975A few years ago there was a looker working the bar in Outing, EPG. Back when it was The Narrows. Heck, I remember when it was a one story shack called The Bridge.
