I carry a LC9CT. I like the laser, but I’m aware that in certain light conditions it may not be visible. Every weapon I’ve ever carried including in the Army, or the Taser at work had a safety so, I feel like no safety is counter intuitive. To each his own. Please, please do not rely on the bare minimum training requirements

I use Mobil 1 in my 2008 F90. Might be overkill, but I’m hard on equipment and it gives me peace of mind.

    My 2008 F90 doesn’t chirp. I don’t think it ever did.

I’m a Red Wings fan who is a Wild fan now that the Wings are gone. I don’t like blaming refs either, but they were horrible. The blown holding call was the worst. No goal for the Av’s or overtime if that gets called!

When we were in Waubay last year, I was told that the glacial lakes in SD have a higher level of salinity that favors fresh water shrimp. Not entirely sure of that, just relaying what I was told.

Was at Bitter in Sept. 2012. Best Perch fishing EVER. You know it’s good when you’re disappointed in your keeper walleye instead of the 12 or 13 inch jumbo.

Gun, I guess I hadn’t thought to do that. I’ll try that. It has to be easier than what I’m doing now. Thanks, E.

I too, have the Navionics app for Droid and like it for the most part. I wish it included a “go to” feature to guide you back to markers and other points rather than make you look down and hit the gps button every so often to navigate to these spots

I was there on Monday out of Shafer’s. Lots of ice. I found fish in about 7′ of water, but getting fish to bite was tougher. More and more guys going out by Halfway Creek and the cribs. Not as many going out to Rosebud.

Well, the winds for tomorrow don’t bode well, but I have heard of a couple of bites. The crappies have been hitting off Airport Beach. Went to Lawrence Lake last Saturday and got 3 nice bass on tip ups and took home 1/2 limit of 9 and 10 inch perch

I fish almost exclusively on the backwater sloughs of the Mississippi. I find both the flasher and camera valuable tools. One of the things I like a camera for is to locate weeds, weedlines, and bottom make up. My camera also helps me find holes in weed beds where fish congregate.

Good to know. I was at the very end of Fisherman’s a week or so ago and found a solid 4″, but there was no snow and I didn’t travel far.

Anyone who says the refs are sympathetic to Green Bay must have missed the Seahawks game. This game SHOULD have meant nothing.

Wow, we were at Circle Pines also. Got yelled at for being loud during the packer game. Great fishing though. Going back next summer, maybe a little earlier in September.

Would definitely recommend the Waubay trip. I was there at the end of September and the fishing was fantastic. Would love to go back and spend a week hammering the walleyes and jumbo perch. We spent the majority of our trip on Bitter though.

Purple. One that is becoming a fast favorite is chartreuse with a glow red nose. (I do these on my own)

I have a Misty Harbor fishing model pontoon. On both front and aft livewells, the fill spout has a simple screw in valve in the very end that when closed completely shuts off the flow of water. In this way I can fill the front livewell and use the rear for dry storage. Works like a charm. Maybe a dealer can give you the part number.

I fished the spot Cade mentioned several times during the summer and caught many many bass and a lot of small gills. In fact I ran into the same guy a few times fishing for catfish bait. I have thought about fishing this spot as well.

If they are small scratches you can buy kits from West Marine etc. to fill them. Larger scratches will require bulk materials. Just make sure what ever they sell you, that it comes with the wax to mix with the gelcoat so it cures. Otherwise you need to cover it with Saran Wrap to keep oxygen out so it cures. As far as maintainance goes I like 3M’s finish restorer and wax as it is a one step product. Good Luck! E.

Hate it. Want the old store back. I don’t care about the Tech Center, night vision goggles or $1000.00+ binoculars. I want plenty of tackle and equipment relevant to the hunting and fishing we do around here at decent pricing. They can also take back the TJ Maxx type maze checkout system they put in. I won’t go there unless they have something I can’t get elsewhere.

I got mine from Scott at Bob’s (the snap jig model with the ex. fast tip) for $85.00. That was early in the season, so maybe he doesn’t have that deal any more. Scot has always done well for me. Enjoy the rod! E.
