Going to the Waubay/Blue Dog area at the end of September. Looking for some tips on the hot baits or rigging for perch and walleyes as this is our first trip to the area.

go to the South Dakota page, Webster area. I think it’s Quentin who should get you in the right direction. I’m looking onto something up there this fall. Last winter was my first time, going to do it again.
Quintin has been doing a great job reporting from that area. Here’s a link to take you right to the SD forums.

Not sure you want to spend anytime fishing on Blue Dog. My aunt and uncle live on the shoreline. Their boat has never touched the water there in about 10 years. Bitter is a better investment. They also stock skis in Waubay if that means anything to you.
