Shane your dink turned out nice, except BigTroy could not get the trolling motor to work. I left a bunch of fat heads at his house if your looking to get out this week. Dink= small 14′ boat.
Wimwuem, we tried dragging plastics they just did not want it. I do know one guy that fished late afternoon until dark that did manage to catch some on plastic including a 27″ fish. the way they bit on Saturday not sure if that would have worked. I hope to get out soon again and try plastics and a blade bait or two. I agree with you if you can get them to take plastic you will get the bigger fish.

well at least we know were the cats are stacked up. To bad you could not get back on the eyes. Did you Troys boat out of gas for him?
No blades I just ordered some will be here on Friday and Targa never tried. I hope to try out the blades on Saturday in Nakoosa. Walleyes were in 6-8′ of water on the current seam and that cats were in the current in about 18′-20′ of water oh and I got one sheephead also. # boats out and we were the only one’s getting fish. 
Cats, were all perfect eaters 1-3 pounders.
I’d tell you the name of the boat, but I’d rather not get band. Hey I have never fished with blade baits, so how were you using them. Where you ripping them or just bringing them in slowly and letting the current do the work. That’s what we were doing with the jig and plastic.
If you can remove all sexual overtones from partner than I’m your fishing partner.

Yeah, we have to take Targa along everyonce in a while to see if he still know’s how to catch fish. My partner aka BigTroy was having a hard time getting the hook in them on Sunday…..Good to see some big girls up there….I have not seen to many that size up by the dam in the 10 years that I’ve been fishing it let alone 2 landed by the same bout with in minutes of each other. great job.
Hey Shane if I’m not mistaken that’s me in the back ground fighting a monster of a 14″er. I will say that fish was a pig and all of 9#. Great job guys…..guess I need to get some blade baits and give the plastic a rest, heading to Nekoosa with Big Troy on Saturday will post so nice pictures I hope.

Fished early am today, 10 short eyes, water very cold 34-35 degrees. Had to fish very slow, dead stick at times. Water low current some what high for the water level.
Shane now that you mention it, I bet that fish is only 20 1/4, good thing I did not catch anymore today or you would be posting a picture of me holding out a 13″er.

It’s a nice fish hard tell how big in the water. How did the motor run? Going on Sunday, maybe to the mississippi if BT can get the Lund out. Sure it was not a dogfish? Just kidding nice fish 
Shane any eyes? My guess is low 40’s, nice fish I’m sure it was a fun fight, at least you got to see this one unlike the one that took me under the boat when we were out in Feb.

Been catching alot of goats below the Petenwell dam for the last couple of years now, nothing big like on the mississippi but plenty of them.
