Gotta beat the kids!

Long story short. My buddy and I have always fished pepin outa lake city memorial weekend. Well this year my buddies son is old enuf to drive. So him and a friend are gonna fish against my buddy and myself. This year we are going outa colville in redwing.
So does anyone have any advice for this part of the lake. Only fished it once about 5 years ago. We are looking for walleyes.
And these kids get real cocky fast so anything would be helpful. Thanks

Wi backchannel north of the lake. You’ll see a pile of boats eventually, join the drift and you’ll find fish. If you are not well versed in the cuts leading into the back channel, I recommend you go all the way to Bay City area and back up. Some of the cuts get shallow in the 6′ range (this weekend).
