It was overcast friday evening with a light south wind, the water temp was up to 52. I was fishing my usual northeast spot, anchored in 7 feet of water. The crappies were biteing but the size was down a bit. I was getting most of them on a purple flu flu under a slip bobber. I found that the fish had moved up tight to the shore in 3 feet of water. I also used waxes and started slaying 1/2 to 3/4 lb sunnies as a bonus. I experimented with a blue and silver Betts tube jig and caught a few mor crappies on a slow retrieve. I took some pics with my digital camera but I,m not sure how to get them on the post but I’ll figure it out eventually. Till next time good fishing to all.
