Chris swam from Everts to Frontenac in one day then Frontenac to Reeds Landing the next. You can follow their daily progress on Facebook, just search “legacies alive”.

According to several sources, Chris will be the second person to ever swim the entire length of the Mississippi River, and the first American. Martin Strel is currently the only person in the world that has done it.

Glad you got your rod back dean! I’m still going to tell the story every chance I get.

You should be able to get them at any marine dealer. It is what they use for Bimini covers. Just ask for Bimini hardware.

This is kind of red neck, but with mine I used lag bolts. I would grind off the head on two sides to make them into a “T” shape. You then put them into the track sideways and rotate them 90 degrees. This is how I mounted all my rod holder bases and cleats. If I didn’t explain it well enough let me know and I’ll try to post some pictures.

I know this isn’t on your list BUT, IMHO a glock 19 in a crossbreed supertuck with a G17 reload is the PERFECT combination.

Chris wasn’t happy when it got ground into his carpet.

I agree, and also to all the police, fire, ems, and volunteers who searched for Scotty in this heat.

The best advise I received was to be the first to pick up a broom and the last to open your mouth.

Ben has been with Red Wing Fire Dept for a few years now and I haven’t seen him pick up a broom or close his mouth yet.

Thanks Steve, Kari, and Jimmy for turning Everts back into a place that is fun to be around.

She lost a ton of weight. I’ll bet she is too skinny.

Why do you call them “cop killas”? Do you think it is cool or funny to kill cops? Are you a “gansta”?
