I use it when trolling to help set lines, the clicker will keep it tight, but still let the board take out line, while I’m setting another line. I also will use it when a fish is on one line, to let a board on another line drop back to get it out of the way. Helps a bunch when fishing solo..

Hey Jeff, good to hear from you. I seem to peek in here now and then, see what’s going on. be the 7th year of owning this boat, and it’s only been on Kosh/rock river. There are many ways to fish out there, but trolling is where you will usually find me. And just like you let me hop on board to learn, I’ve done the same thing to get a few others up to speed on trolling on the lake.

Always willing to take out some new people to get the hooked on this system. waytogo

    Woodford Reserve. Distillers select.
    Four Roses, small Batch
    Angels Envy port barrel finished
    Elijah Craig, Small Batch
    Jefferson ocean aged voyage 25

Like them all, but the Jeffersons is good (wheated).

Trades are a great opportunity to get started in. Grsat to see the opening posted.
27 years as a union Steamfitter, and 22 years as a union welding instructor for night school fror our apprentices.
Trade unions are not like other unions. If you are not productive, a contrator can lay you off at any time.
That is why we fund our training school, classes offered for apprentices and Journeyman to keep your skill base up, as new processes are being used.
You get paid well, good benefits, for a highly skilled job.
Its not for everyone, long hours, and not always pleasnt conditions.
The labor unions of auto makers/manufactiring are of no comparison.
Teachers union in my area, they can choose to have the salary paid out for the school year, or for 12 months. So they have a check coming in over the summer.
Thats why people think they are being paid when off.
Best move i made was beacming a union Steamfitter. may not be for someone else.

I have a framed Mn. also. I have the slim road tires/rims for it too.
I ride it on pavement, gravel grinding, mountain bike trails, and in the snow.

Got it for the same reason , hip replacement. year round fun. But not as fun as fishing.

    The George Foreman Grill.
One heat setting, no safety latch, closes like a bear trap.
The plastic drip tray somehow disappears after first use.

    Gotta love that thing waytogo

I just got a rescue dog. part black lab part blue heeler. Dog is smart , loves to play fetch with tennis ball. does like to gather and corral shoes from around the house and place in the living room. stays by my side when we walk. greets every visitor with wagging tail. I have a 14 yr. old Brittany as well, the 2 of them sleep next to each other.

Never been a PB fan, bad interaction with one was enough for me, turn on a dime.
Though sounds like others have had great experiences.

Good luck with the search. Had a few other rescue dogs on a visit till we found right match.

I’ve always kept the grease off the balls, makes a mess out jeans, or anything else that rubs against it.

Gold Bond may be the new trend for grease free balls. woot

When I don’t have my work boots on, I wear crocs. Year round. thru slush, snow, sun, rain doesn’t matter. usually have them in 2- wheel drive, but when its gets rough, slip the heel strap on, and go into 4-wheel drive.

socks on or off up to the person wearing them.

Masks are NOT for YOUR protection, its is to protect anyone that is around you. You can say what you want about rights/freedom, but its also the right of everyone that goes to a public place,or business to not be in danger because of someone else choice to not wear one. Just don’t understand how its that difficult. But then again most people only care about themselves.

I have helped many times, if im waiting in line. Its not the people struggling I laugh at.( I have backed in a trailer for someone before) Its the people that don’t have one once of respect for others, they block the ramp, then get boat ready, sit at the dock till the rest of people they are waiting for arrive. then act like your I the wrong for asking if they could move , or get boat ready off to the side. The part where the comedy comes in, is I just laugh it off, not out loud, but to myself, no need to get upset. But others like to get heated up. Its the unpleasure boat crowd for most part on launches I use. Had one a couple days ago, put in their pontoon early in am, no one was even parked in lot yet. Took up 4 spots with truck and trailer.

Too many people just don’t care about anything but themselves.
So yes there can be some funny crap going down at the launch.

At times I think it would be fun to take a cooler to the boat launches that get busy, sit on a picnic table, have a beer, and just watch the show. Early mornings are easy, just fisherman and they are ready to get in and out. Its the pleasure boat crowd that amazes me. Last weekend, had a big ski boat, back half way down the ramp, then unstrap the boat, put cooler in boat, get the wife/gf to the dock, check the engine, put up the top, get ropes ready, then wait 10 minutes for his 2 other friends to arrive, before backing in, and then talking on the dock before heading out. All I do is laugh. Then I got my boat to dock, went to back trailer in, had 2 guys blocking the ramp as the took off straps, and filled out launch permit. I asked if they could pull off to the side, and they both got mad, lol You cant make this crap up.
Dallmans, lake kosh, locals will read this and laugh.

Good to hear from your Derek. Crowds haven’t been bad this year(after season opens in may), at least for me. I troll a lot, and seem to find fish away from the known places.
