I fertilized but have not put any weed killer down. Last Friday right before the rain. You should not put down weed killer until weeds are actively growing. Starting to get a few dandelions so I will likely knock them out tomorrow. You weed stuff down too early it never works.

2.55″ plus .85″ (and counting) since last Friday. Pretty dang impressive.

Add another half inch. Everything is so green and the dandelions are starting to pop but for now I don’t have many

I did a google search and it popped right up on like walleye central. It happens all the time apparently. One dude was selling a boat and someone contacted him so he asked what type of previous boat he had or experience and the buyer responded with a car model not a boat.

One Columbia professor canceled all final exams and gave all students an A for the semester.

I have a feeling this series is going to be a long one. I hope the Wolves pull it off.

I would imagine that the locks and even the livewell would be of similar size to other manufacturers. These boat makers dont build their own locks. Look for a brand label on the lock and contact that company. Measure your livewell and go to another manufacturer dealer and you should find something.

A buddy of mine just told me that his son was going through TSA at the airport in Dallas recently and had a handgun in his bag that he forgot about. I dont know how someone could forget this kind of thing. Thankfully it wasnt loaded and since he had a clean record so they didnt charge him with anything but he wasnt able to fly with his family he was detained for a few days so his little girls were terrified about what was happening to dad.

I would never flush a transmission. Drain it, replace filter and refill. A pain, yes, but you are not pushing metal and lord knows what else throughout the system

Thanks Red! You might have had one after they made the changes to get rid of that problem. It was actually an easy fix, just changing the dang fluid to a Honda fluid believe it or not.

But if these guys are saying 80k plus a year that’s pretty good pay, the Teachers here don’t make that but they should.

My wife blows that out of the water! But, she also has multiple masters and been doing it for over 20 years.

The comments and long time story line about teachers compensation and working 9 months a year, limited hours, holidays and weekends off… just bothers me. It completely dismisses the amount of time outside of work that teachers put into their profession.

Yeah, I used to make fun of my wife and said WAY back in the day that she only worked 9 months a year. Well, in those 9 months she works harder than many do in a year. Its really a thankless job. Dealing with nasty kids, horrible parents. She actually wanted to adopt one of her students because his dad was in prison, mom a meth head and about to go to prison. He was a great kid just needed a chance. She had him in like Kindergarten. The first day of school each year he would go and find her and give her this huge hug. Never missed doing it until now that he is in HS. I wonder what he is up to now. Thankfully he is living with his grandparents now so that should hopefully be better for him.

Teachers aren’t getting rich but 75k salary for 1540 hours isn’t exactly poverty either. Imagine working 1500 hours in a full year BC

No one bashes going to college more than people who didn’t go to college

I went to college and I bash the heck out of it. I dont want my kids to make that mistake unless their career aspirations require it.
My wife is a teacher and she gets paid handsomely. I bet she makes more than many people hear, but she also has like 87 masters degrees as continuing ed is about the only way to get a pay bump. She is about maxed out now with getting bumps for all her credits, but its astounding how much she would get bumped. This varies by district however. My buddy up on the Iron Range probably makes around half what she does.

However it’s still very sad that a young life was lost without ever knowing what life was really about.

Isnt that the truth! Ive read that there were no signs of this. Something triggered him, something, there had to be signs. I never believe that when I hear it said. There is always something.
There was a young girl from Sartell, very bright, excellent athlete had great parents and one day she just decided to kill herself. There is always something going on. Kids of that age go through stuff. Its hard being a teenager. Back in my dad you had a beef with someone you settled it after school at the Catholic Church parking lot. Not with weapons.

Rossi is such an easy kid to root for I would hate to see him go. There are some questionable contracts Id rather get rid of before I would want to get rid of him. Freddy and JoJo for starters, but no chance at that after the year they had.

BC I agree with you 100%. Things are so out of hand now and there is no sign of it changing any time soon. My house appraised for $317K around a year ago. I would NEVER in a million years pay that and you saw my house LOL

The problem with a university is they make you take classes that have no relevance to what your degree is going to be. Why should I take Science or Geography classes if I am going into IT? Makes no sense. THat is why the 4 year college thing is such a scam. My middle son is graduating from HS this year and he is going into the trades and attending a Tech school. He will be in the workforce in less than 2 years and be making money on much smaller debt than had he gone to a 4 year school.
The percentage of college graduates that get an actual job in their degree is staggering. I think its something like only 30% or something actually get a job in the field they schooled for. Whats the point? There are many jobs that companies are hiring for that they actually prefer someone who didnt go to a university. Look up Charlie Kirk once, he is quite interesting to listen to. Never went to college and is making millions and embarrassing these college kids.

property and sales taxes. They will then realize that the left may not be the correct side of the aisle.

Who are we kidding no chance these kids will own homes the way things are going now. Only a few years ago you could buy yourself a home if you made $56k a year. That number now is more than double that. With all their student debt and everything, these kids wont be owning homes anytime soon.

Well we all saw how the Uvalde situation worked out where Law Enforcement didnt immediately react and it led to a bunch more deaths. I am sure it was very stressful for the staff and the kids, but its far better to be more cautious and alive than the obvious alternative. They probably had no idea whether there was another person working with him that could have been inside. This makes me so sad because my youngest is a 8th grader.

Personally from the amount of time I have seen Rossi play I think he is a more effective center than he would be at wing. He sees the ice well, is strong on the puck, putting him at wing takes away a lot of what he is good at IMO. He is a puck distributor IMO and that is better to be a center than wing unless on the PP I guess.
