The Willis Knot is the way to go. If you use a swivel a lot of times your guide on the reels will cause it to bind up.
January 25, 2015 at 10:20 pm #1502480How do you like to fish? What plan do you have? Send me a message if you’d like.
December 4, 2014 at 10:50 pm #1480263I’m sure if this Tax works in Minnesota every other state will follow shortly. I might have to put 5-6 stickers on my trailer..
June 5, 2014 at 6:27 am #1414381I think the Iowa record is 16″ and 2.7 pounds. I wish I would have weighed it.
May 21, 2014 at 2:32 pm #1411744I was able to squeeze in an appointment with Kennedy Marine in Cedar Rapids today. Hopefully I can pick it up in the morning and all is good again. A big thanks to Kennedy Marine!!!!!
May 3, 2014 at 6:03 pm #1408203I have the same setup on my boat. I run xd-100 only. I have been very happy and have over 500 hours. Here’s the 2 problems I’ve had. Water sensor did it’s job and shut down motor until system was restored. No biggie. Here’s the biggie. My boat has had 3 lower units. The originals are not strong enough geared for the horsepower from the top. Evinrude came out with a lower unit design that hasn’t failed now in 2.5 years. I think they call it the M2. With all this I have loved the boat and motor. Have fun! Let’s see a picture.
March 24, 2014 at 9:12 pm #1398993I wish I could do it too. I have an uncle “who” sits around a campfire and gets them started. Quite funny.
February 18, 2014 at 9:45 pm #1389789First off I’m sorry to hear your son has been diagnosed with MS. With that said, my wife has lived with it very well for the last fifteen years. See was in her mid 30’s when see started having symptoms. Tingling in legs was the main sign. Good news is she may only have symtoms once or twice a year and is usually brought on by stress (not always caused by me). I give her a shot in the legs once a week since then with a drug called Avonex. The good news is she is still beautiful and strong and you’d never know. When she was diagnosed with this they said that at her age the effects of MS is very minor to compared to if you get your younger. Hopefully you son will have the same outcome. Our God is an awesome God at all times. We will pray for you and your family.

I consider most everything I buy at Cabelas to be a “medical device”,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, everything I buy there is required for my well being and sanity. Does that mean I can now deduct it all as a medical expense at the end of the year?
I checked the above out on snoopes and it’s true.
October 13, 2013 at 10:52 pm #1200089It has been a tough week for me too. On pools 9 and 10, we only boated 3 legals in 3 days. Several shorts and a bunch of junk fish. I’m hoping it will turn around soon.

Firestone Destination AT. Excellent winter traction and long life. I have them on my Silverado now. 45,000 and going to replace them with another set this fall
Same here except I have a ’10 F150. I went with the C load range for heavier hauling. Other people that have driven my truck thru the snow thought the tires were phenomenal in the snow. They are quiet and are lasting longer than I expected. Would buy these again in a heartbeat.
x2 with 64000 on originals replacing with the same next month.
September 5, 2013 at 4:28 am #1193060I have several Vizio’s and have had no problems. I may not have the top end TV, but I have no complaints.
August 29, 2013 at 1:45 pm #1192035I use 50/50. It works on fiberglass also. Mix it up in a spray bottle.
August 28, 2013 at 11:48 pm #1191940Here’s a picture with me. Same fish. But this time it’s a male. (Thanks John)
