    Hello,

I am just looking for some general info on the park area on the other side of the bridge on Hwy 10.

Every year I drive by there in the summer months, wondering if it ever gets any ice fishing pressure. Today, I took a drive and found a few shacks out there – closer to where they moor the boats in the western corner of the bay.

With that said, what type of fishery is it? Is it productive for Pike in the winter? How about general depths or structure?

A map would help, but I’m not sure what the actual name of that area is.

    Appreciate it.

That’s a good area for a large variety of fish; walleye, pike, sauger, carp, cats, etc. In the spring they do net fishing out of that bay for rough fish. If you get a chance watch them when they do a clean out, it’s amazing the number and size of game fish that they toss (hopefully) back into the bay. Also be careful, there is current out there and it can be tricky.
