Pretty Good Day of Sheds

    Went out with my buddy yesterday and we did pretty good for our first day out. Saw 5 deer when we were on top of a ridge. We found one side to a deer we call Wide 8. Found another one of our smaller 8s too. We got one set from a deer we call Rudolph. He is kinda goofy, but I think he looks pretty cool. My buddy said there was a shed in front of me and I ran up and the other side was right by it, that we didn’t see till we got there. The big guy was the main reason we went out. We call him Frank. Found them just inside the woods by the field where we got his sheds last year. So we got 2 sets so far this year. Anybody else have any luck?

    Here are some pictures of Rudolph, the wide 8, Frank, and one other I hope to get the sheds of, Clutch. The picture with the broken g3 is the Wide 8. Also, the last one is Clutch. Do you guys think he is broken or just grows like that?

    I hope Frank stays around too, hopefully he did and does some more breeding. He has been around for 2 years now. We got his sheds and trail pics from last year. He really blew up this year. I think he gained somewhere around 35-40 inches this year so we will see what happens.

    Good looking bucks and they should be even better this fall. I agree with Pat – it looks like Clutch’s left side is abnormal and just grew that way. Maybe he suffered an injury on his right side the year before???

    He wasn’t shot, sorry it took so long to get back to you. We have many pictures of him before and after he dropped sheds. Just a little ruffle in the hair. Anybody get any sheds lately or the snow keep ya in?
