Isnt that the truth!
The latest European Model for this incoming system shows 2-3 inches of rain in a large portion of central MN by Monday. Hopefully this actually happens too.
I’m going to stick with my original prediction for the St. Cloud area, albeit the higher side, 0.75″. My formal education is meteorology, so I will likely be wrong.
The “2 day drought buster” mega rain event- there was a brief mist before I went to bed and still nothing.
my deck was wet this morning, and when i took recycling out there was some water in my buckets but not much.
the weather terrorists say 100% chance this afternoon!!!
nice rain overnight and pouring on and off here in rochester right now
Glad I didn’t waste my time watching forecast and canceling going fishing. Quite nice out now and fish are biting.
Nothing here in the White Bear Lake area. Big system about to make its way into MN from SD but I’m sure it’ll break up and miss us all.
Its the weekend and we are at the cabin so of course it’s raining.

I’m from there originally and I know you guys really need it. Hope there’s more coming !
It’ll rain tomorrow northeast of Hinckley. We’re going wheeling up there. Guarantee for rain.
Nice steady rain here. If it rains like this all night then it might amount to something.
South/central metro was hit like a ton of bricks with heavy rain and wind all through the evening and night. Final wave ended just an hour or so ago. So grateful for this!

North branch was hit hard. Just stopped a little while ago.
This rain will be really good for the evergreens as they “prepare” for winter.
there a long way off here from the 1.56 inches they predicted!!!!1 got less then an 1/2 inch so far. they are blabberin about more later???????/
Looks like the rain went more to the east. We have more then 1 1/2″ and its still raining. We really did need this to refill the water in the lakes and rivers.
I went out and emptied the rain gauge and so far we have had 2.8″ of rain and it looks to keep up for a little while.
its been raining for a day and half straight here and looks like it wont let up at all today. I’m pretty bummed to have to totally scratch this weekend from bird hunting. Dang mother nature can be cruel sometimes but this slow and steady rain is exactly what we needed…
2.4 in southwest Hennepin County. A friend got 3.75 in Long Lake.
Somewhere between 4” and 5” here total along Pool 4.
I hate to say it was “too late”, but that’s the reality. Corn and bean crops that aren’t on irrigators here are a lost cause on lighter soils.
2″ in my gauge Sunday afternoon when I emptied it here in Woodbury. Seems like we got more in NW Wisc but I dont currently have a gauge there.
Happy for those of you who have received some much needed rain, but we were the big losers from this storm. I got .2″ last night and about .3″ saturday night and .2″ before that sometime last week.
