    It’s a pretty small lake, but I would say at least 4-5 inches up to 6 in some spots.

    For new, clear ice only

    2″ or less – STAY OFF

    4″ – Ice fishing or other activities on foot

    5″ – Snowmobile or ATV

    8″ – 12″ – Car or small pickup

    12″ – 15″ – Medium truck

    I always wondered so I looked it up

    The ice really firmed up over night on the small lake I have been hitting, its amazing what one more cool night will do. The fishing was kinda slow….Moving to premium spot this Friday on a much larger lake
