Too common a surgery with the Twins but I don’t think you can blame it on the team for mishandling. Pretty rare infielders get it. Good news is that he’s young and (20) and should bounce back. The only down side could be does the inactivity ballon him up to 300 pounds?

I agree Brian, it’s a set back we could do without.
March 2, 2014 at 3:26 pm #1393137It still baffles me why they didn’t just do the surgery last fall. He still could have gotten a big chunk of at bats this summer yet. I have yet to hear of someone rehabbing this injury. I think this really sets back his development. I just hope he doesn’t balloon up now.
