    It sounds like they are getting them on Chequamegon Bay. Started slow and they did well until the wind switched to the north. Should be good all week if the water temps do not go down.

    I did not hear any reports at Gander Mtn all day about smelt. Still waiting……………Steelhead and loopers on the other hand..they are going pretty good from what I hear.

    I have begun to hear whisperings of a few guys getting bucket fulls and even a cooler or two. Nearly all the ice is gone thats been hanging around forever. I will post more before the weekend if I hear anyone getting any this week at night but if you have to travel, I’d say this weekend would be the time to get here.

    They ran hard last night. By buddy said he got 15 gallons and is done for the year. Get out there and ’em.
