Alrighty ladies and gentleman, I’m looking to purchase a new flip shelter. I would love a shelter I can stand in, (6’2), chairs instead of bench, and under 1k. From what I’ve already gathered, the best options for me are the Eskimo Grizzly, or the Jason Mitchell Thermal X.
Somebody sell me on one please!!!
Go to your local big box store, find the one you want, then keep an eye on Craigslist and FB Marketplace, and you will find exactly what you want at far below new prices. Worked for me!
I just got an otter lodge xt pro(swivel seats) for $850 at Joe’s sporting goods. I’m 6’2 and can stand up in it. If you want a quality product go with an Otter.
X2 on the Otter lodge. Just picked one up at Joe’s also. Fished out of one last winter with a buddy, nice shack and now with side doors even better.
