Seems one has been spotted here. 4 neighbors including me had damage this morning. 1/4 mile east, dumpster tipped over. 1mile west, garbage scattered from dumpster. I have 3 Shepard hook poles with bird feeders right in front of my kitchen window. I was up at 4am watching the lightning, they were ok. Got up a 6,2 are leaning, one is bent almost 90° to the ground, feeders always away, and my grill was tipped over. Definitely not from wind.

I saw a picture of a bear on facebook near Sunburg- North of Willmar.
About 5 miles north of Westbrook, and in lamberton area.
They seen to like sunflower seeds and especially suet!!
Lost a few feeders myself over the years.

Small world indeed….not too many people know where Avoca is anymore.
I moved away when I was little so didn’t go to HS there. Mom’s side of the family are Tentinger’s and a handful still live in Slayton. My cousin runs the farm – it’s on the North side of the lake directly across from the dam. I think they have about 800′ of shoreline.
I caught a lot of bullhead’s out of that lake when I was kid….it was pretty much a silthole then but I think it’s a bit cleaner now. When we swam in the lake you’d come out covered in a green film back in the 80’s.
