Can’t comment on the areas you are interested in but I have Tmobile. Coverage good along major roadways but not so great off the beaten path. At our deer shack in northern WI I have almost no signal while Verizon phones do ok. We have a signal booster. But 1/2 mile away sitting in a ground blind under big pine canopy I had full 5G signal. I could stream video while no deer came by.

Here is one to make you think. I live just outside the City limits of Rochester. The city has an extra .5% sales tax. If I order online and only use the 5 digit code it will call me Rochester and I get charged tax I should not. The extra 4 digits say i’m outside the city. I have contacted vendors for tax refunds or correction and I have a letter from the City saying I do not live in the limits and should not be charged. Some do and some do not. Sure it only amounts to minor change on most stuff. But I get stubborn sometimes. And my question is if they collect tax that I shouldn’t pay who gets the money?? The vendor, the State or the City? Ok off my soapbox

Stopped at Rochester store 2 days ago and saw no deals. Some guns were higher priced now than they were 3 weeks ago.

Antennas direct is a great web site. There online tech service steered me away from the model I was looking at because of trees in my yard that he looked at on Google Earth. Told me a different model that was cheaper. In Rochester I get all the local stuff plus some Iowa. No Twin Cities stations.

My cousin has been doing it for years with bottles and glass block. His wife stuffs them with xmas lights and other junk. He calls it her therapy and cheaper than seeing a shrink…. But he uses the cheap bits on a Dewalt Hammer drill and often does it under water in the sink. Go slow and don’t press too hard. Never really paid alot of attention but I’ve seen him do it numerous times. Like it was said if you break a few no big deal.
