Tried fishing from shore over by Woodman today. The river was very high with the water over the islands. Has anyone heard if the water level is receding farther north? It seems the Wisconsin River is never going to return to its banks.
You can check out a post below about wisconsin rivers hydrology. The usgs site mentioned there shows fairly current info and back to five days ago in graph form. The closest gauge for you would probably the one at Muscoda. There is also a phone number you can call to get the discharge from the Castle Rock, WI Dells, and Prairie du Sac dams- 18002421077
Jeremy, thanks for the info, it looks like it’s slowly coming down. Looks like a return trip to the Wisconsin River for me this weekend.
