gulie suite??

    Any one hunt turkeys in a gulie suite. Looking at buying one but not sure.

    I really can’t see where they would be necessary or practical. I suppose if you had to hunt very open areas where concealing your shape was critical.

    Guys were really in love with ghillie suits for coyote hunting a few years back. It was a huge fad and it flamed out quickly. I think the added weight and the snagging on underbrush, etc, became not worth the hassle.

    The secret to successful turkey hunting is not moving, whether in a Ghillie suit or traditional camo, either way, you move and your busted. Setup, skill, luck, calling ability, patience, and scouting all factor into the success, Camo doesn’t matter near as much as the above. If you have extra money burning a hole in your pocket please PM me as I need a new blind, mine is in sad shape.
