cannon river help???

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows of any spots to shore fish on the cannon river between northfield and lake byllsby. I fish the cannon a lot around the waterville and faribault area with good success but have never tried north of northfield. Was thinking of trying to find a new spot.

Anyone know of any shore spots?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

A few spots that other people try are both the Hwy 52 river bridge and the Old 24 bridge in Cannon Falls. Both have ample room to walk up and down the bank, fish lots of different currents and cover. The area between Hwy 52 and town on the south side of the bank is DNR land, so it’s fair game. Consider wading the river and you’ll get access to spots not often fished.
