Mississippi Sartell-St. Cloud

    Hi guys, never done it before but saw a post of someone in a much larger boat that said they can do it.

    Is it possible to run to the Sartell dam from the boat launch in St. Cloud just above 2nd street? I’m in a 14 Lund. Maybe there’s. Closer launch?

    I think there’s a boat landing on Riverside Ave (Co. Rd 1). Just before sartell. If you get to the Holiday station you went too far. Be careful, I was up that way today, the river is really flowing!

    I sure don’t think so. Just drive across the Sauk Rapids bridge and you’ll see why.

    I don’t know if it’s an official launch but actually beneath the sartell bridge I have seen guys with smaller boats go in. The river right now is dangerous down there in any boat. Wait for it to lighten up a bit. I wouldn’t attempt to trek up from the landings in Sauk Rapids unless you are in a jet boat.
