perch and crappies

The perch and crappies continue to put on a show on Lake Waubesa. Best bite has been first and last light. Finding fish in both Shallow and deep water. Last year the crappies were all a hair too small. This year they are nice keepers. No giants have yet been seen.

Thanks for the report. Have targeted the pannies on open water, but never on hard water. Any decent areas accessible by foot from the launches?

Closest foot access to decent water is off the bible camp access. No motor vehicles allowed off that access. From the other launches, it is a fair hike to decent water, or at least what I consider decent. Lots of people fish the weeds close to goodland and lake farm.
