    With all of the christmas celebration taken care of I was finally able to load up the wheeler and head north! We found the crappies to be on a feeding binge, with our biggest being just short of 13″! A 5mm CJ&S Chekai in Clown turned out to be out hot bait, in 20-24 feet of water.

    Anytime spent out on a small untouched forest lake is time well spent in my book!

    What are you guys seeing out there?

    Sweet Set up! Were they biting on the bottom or up higher or both?

    I found the most active fish to be 3-5 feet off the bottom in 23-26 feet of water.
