    Humminbird called yesterday and said there is new updates on some of there models. Just thought I would pass it along

    The significant updates described in some of the other threads (like Lakemaster compatibility, for example) are not part of the minor software updates just made available.

    Quick follow-up on this:

    I updated my 997 with the most recent software, v 4.570, before my trip out yesterday. I didn’t encounter anything so different that it jumped off the screen at me. “Cosmetic and minor operational issues” seems about right.
