Today some buddies and me went out Walleye fishing on Sand lake again. The morning was a bit slower, but as the day went on the fishing got better. Water temps out there was in the upper 50’s low 60’s. We fished jigs and minnows in the weeds anywhere from 5-8 feet of water. it really seemed like if you got one fish, you would get a number of them there. the bites weren’t really hard, they would almost swim along with it, it would feel like your jig was being pulled through syrup, and you would have to let them take it for a few seconds, we still missed alot of fish, but we got 34 walleye between 14 and 17 1/2 inches. we only fished for about 4 or 5 hours and the only reason we left is because we ran out of bait again. It was alot of fun.

    Good luck,

Nice report. Got any 25 horse motors lying around? Mine took a major dump this weekend.
