This may sound like a really dumb question, but would graphite make a good reel “lube”?
I am thinking not because of the water contact, as well as dust etc. But I really don’t know.
It can do some amazing stuff but not sure if it is good in this application?
    Thoughts?

I have used it, but not a big fan

just when I have time in the cold months

mayB a year or even three, depends on use

I take them apart and do a clean lube job

    Works 4 me

Had some reels 4 over 20 years

    I hate 2 say really,

It’s tough when your reels might b older then your kids

I wouldn’t suggest it.. I don’t think it will “coat” or “hold” like it should, plus I feel it is somewhat abrasive…. I would get some hot sauce
