    I am looking for free audio editing software, but don’t know what program would be a good one. Does anyone here know of a program that is user friendly and free? All I want to do is cut out portions of songs and save the short clips. Thanks for any help.

    Audacity I believe will fulfill your needs, I DL’ed long ago never actually used it much. I think that will do what you want.
