Almost stopped and took a picture (and given money)… Two homeless guys sitting together (not sure if they were actually homeless or not)… holding signs:
Sign 1: “Pigeons ate my parents, need money for BB gun”.
Sign 2: “Worthless Pick-up lines, $1”.
Ahem… almost had to give them cash. Was very humerous. 
I get a kick out of the ones asking for hand outs while drinking $8.00 fancy coffees from Starbuck’s.

Used to live in seattle, those guys had more money than most people that work for a living.
I often travel to California and some of those sign holders will be seen getting into BMWs and Mercedes parked behind the bushes in he nearest parking area. The lazy business must be good. 
When I was in Portland Or.,I saw a guy cut out the middle man. He was driving around giving each one a couple beers. Didn’t see one turn him down.
Yeah, at least in Seattle they don’t seem as agressive. The people doing this in Chicago will follow you asking for money. At least the times I’ve been to Seattle they’re just hanging out with their signs.
In some places $200/day is a slow day for them…
