Got out late afternoon yesterday with my brother and brother in-law. Fished depths of 3-17 ft in search of the crappies. Water temp at 50 on the surface and not a crappie to be had. Graphed fish at 8-10 ft all over the lake right on the weed lines but could not coax a bite. Tried minnows and waxies on plain lead heads, skirted, plain hook, Flu flu’s, and casted spinners. I will be trying Ceder lake island area tonight on the horseshoe chain in an old reliable spring spot in hopes the water temp is up a bit and the fish have begun the move to the shallows. Water temp on the Chain Sunday was a cold 42.
