Fished out on Greer on Saturday, caught some large mouth and some pike on accident while using crappie minnows and little jigs. We did get a few nice bull gills and crappies but the front came through and shut us down. Drove out to 3rd mile on Pelican, and it reminded me of some video of Antarctica with all the wind and blowing snow…..didnt fish it. Hit some no-namer real close to it and caught some Perch and the start of a cold. Panfishing is pretty good in the area, its just a little harder to get out of bed for those little buggers.
