Ceder Island Lake(south of St. Cloud)

    We just got back from Richmond today after a day on the ice on 2 different lakes. First Ceder Island.Crappies were in 25-27 feet of water right on the bottom. Lots of flashes on the vex and after many lure changes,we coax 14 through the holes. Schneider lake was kicking out a few small walleyes in the morning and again the flasher was pretty,but only got 1 keeper eye at 22″. Catfish were also biting on both lakes,we got 4 and each was a couple 3 pounds.

    Thanks for the update Chappy. It’s been a reeeaaaalll long time since I fished the chain. I definitely need to make a trip there this spring for walleyes and bass. Jon
