Leech Lake — First Timer advice

    Never fished Leech. Been by there several times however I think this time I will stop on in. I was thinking about fishing Jumbo Perch on Goose Island. My Son and I fish everything so if there is a better option please let us know.. If I bring the big house we would need 16+ inches of ice. We also do a lot of portable fishing so all kinds….

    Where would it be best to go out of?

    Thoughts?

    Shores of Pine Pt resort has access to the Goose Island area $10.00 Plenty of ice for your house good 20″ Fish the Grand vu flats area for perch 14 to 18ft along a break.

    Walker bay is also good for perch now find a flat and work the edge down to the breakline we caught some Sat that were 13″ jumbos. Maggots worked the best.
