You will know pretty quickly that my mechanical skills are limited. So…here goes.
OK, I have always felt that my 130hp should have more top end. I bought it last year. Yesterday I took the hood off and when I had the throttle at max I still had about 1/2 inch or more left before full capacity. Did I describe this correctly? Anyhow can I adjust my throttle to make this go full?? Is this OK for the motor itself?
Need more info? Let me know.
If you can help this dummy out please do!
    Thanks for the help

What year and make of outboard. On the older models the throttle controlled the carbs and the timing advance. With out knowing what you have it`s hard to help.

Another question might be how many rps are you turning at WOT & with what prop? You dont want to rev it into obliviation.
