The first one is of My Grand Pa’s taken in Northern MN some time in the 40’s
The second one is of My Dads taken in Northern MN in 1963

The last one is mine take 20 minutes after hearing My sons heart beat for the first time on the cell phone up in the deer stand through the ultra sound. Talk about a VERY lucky day
    Also taken in northern MN.

You gotta laugh at the way they did mounts years ago. granted they have had a rough post life

Only got one bow buck so far but two shotgun bucks. Nothing huge but it was my first archery deer. The second picture is my first deer all together. And the third is my biggest buck that i have shot. (And yes i did have orange on when i shot it, i just took it off when i got home where i took the pictures.)

Great looking euro mounts I really like them, Best part is I can do them myself which is the best thing. Kind of enjoy sitting out over the fire pit boiling heads….. I haven’t had much luck with bow one of these days, but have a few nice ones with rifle…

Gun & Bow kills above also.

    GMAN

How do you like your pedestal mount, I often thought that would be cool to have, my wide 8pt was done in a pedestal wall mount – I think that’s what it’s called

When you run out of walls they work mint I love it , you can move it all over and it don’t look out of place If you seen my bear picture I did the same ! Maybe thinking about putting my elk on one too.

    1. ND Bow Buck 2004 4×4. I mistakenly took him as the big 5×5 that was chasing the doe in circles around me at last light. Great hunt, nicknamed the 7.5 mile buck. I shot this buck on Wednesday night in a blizzard. I knew I shot him back, I let him lie in a small slough. Jumped him the next morning at 8am and chased him all day in the new snow. I ended up getting a 2nd arrow into him Thursday night right at Sunset. Chased him on foot the whole day Thursday and finally arrowed him 5 sections to the South and 2 sections to the East. True story, had him within 20 yards multiple times unable to release an arrow. Not the biggest buck, but a buck I will never forget.

    2. My 2003 176 5/8″ Archery Buck 5×5

    3. My 2005 MN Debalce Buck Archery 4×4

    4. My 2007 SD Mule Deer Rifle

    5. My mounts on the Fireplace (2005 Buck, 2003 Buck, 2001 ND Buck 5×5)

I have a few more but do not have pics on my computer and the racks are at my Mom & Dads House.
