I am looking to pickup a Cellular enabled trail cam. There seems to be several good options out there. How many of you use them and what brands/models have you had good luck with? Thank you in advance for the help!!
As tempting as it is to get one, I just can’t justify the money.
I bought 2 of the Covert Code Black Cellular cameras from a guy of Craiglist for $150 ea. I believe the Scheels sticker said $389 retail. These are the cameras that ran off of AT&T, the first ones that came out before the Verizon ones came out a few years later. They didnt have service where this guy was hunting, and they dont work where I hunt either. (Timber and AT&T dont mix). But for $150 buck they are a hell of a camera just to run with out the cellular turned on. HUGE flash range 12MP, and it takes 12 AA BATTS! So it never runs out of batteries. They cellular aspect of it I cannot comment, but the actual camera is great.
