What are you snickering about? You’re the one that took a picture of him taking his pants off in your boat!
Ha! I know that spot…oh, wait.
Nice cats, they are absolutely putting the feed bags on!
I am torn between giving the Ruins another shot this weekend or going way up to CR and fish for Redhorse this weekend. I will be up there next weekend for Easter, so maybe the choice has already been made.
Do you guys ever catch flats around there? I had a buddy who said he caught a flat down there but they were in a boat.
Depends on your definition of around.
Personally I have seen and caught flats down there, but nothing big.
Yea i think he said it was like 32″ or something like that. They were on the opposite side of the canal there, so you have caught them off shore there?
I have caught flats around the area downstream of Mill Ruins. Little bit of everything in there.
I’ve caught some smaller flatheads at Mill Ruins. Never seen anything too big, though.

Yeah. The one I caught was on the rail near the lock.

I’ve never caught flats down there, but I’ve caught 2 baby flatties up by the 694 bridge… they’re in that stretch but they never seem to get big or too common.
