Looks like another “Been There Done That” forecast. I hate high water.
That sucks
At least I had the opportunity to get my new boat out and tear it up out there on wed

Is it predicted to go up due to predicted rain in the forecast?
I believe that is correct. You have to look at the whole watershed too. All that rain going up through north central MN and WI that eventually ends up in the St Croix. Over the next 2 days they are predicting up to 3 1/2 inches which is a lot of rain. I guess it all ends up someplace and goes through here on its way there. I was out last night and there wasn’t much flow going – I think the St Croix is a bit backed up right now by the Mississippi. All this new rain won’t help much.
Steve, normally the stage is higher at Prescott then Hudson.
I don’t know if the St Croix really ever “floods”, it more accurately “backs up”.

So what you’re saying Dr. BK is that the St. Croix river is actually constipated due to the restricted flow caused by the Mississippi’s flooding
Shows its going to come up a foot by next week here in Fountain City.
Funny how a guy learns of two PRIME shore spots for good catfishin’ when the water is normal level or low a bit, then the rain backs up the Croix like a low quality toilet. Mother Nature you can kiss my for all this rain!
Looks like they added 2 more feet to next Sunday’s forecast after last night.
Looks like they’ll have to revise the St. Paul forecast as well.
Wow, we’re going to be right back to where we were a few weeks ago
It looks like the city of Hudson is losing huge revenue by not having an operational boat launch
We’re sitting at a forecast of 12.3 at Everts.
At 12.8 I’m parking the boat on the road in front of the camper. Might as well go to 13.0 so I can tie off to the deck and not get my feet wet.
Bummer.
Sure was glad I had the umbrella in the cost Saturday afternoon.
I have a friend whos brother lives in Wabasha and he said they got so much rain up in northern Minn. a few days ago that the Mississippi is going to come up 3′, is that happening now or is the Miss. going to come up another 3′ over the high water that’s already there.
It was 8’x” yesterday, Sunday.
By Friday they’re forecasting 12’7″.
It can stop raining at anytime now….
I saw the weather forcast tonight on channel 5, and they said, this is the 2nd wettest year on record
You have to go all the way back to 1965 for the record, and half of us on this sight weren’t even born yet

Steve,
Let me know when you have a few fish on the board and then I’ll start fishing again

I don’t care what anybody else gets – I just want 1 point more than you. I accept your challenge – I’ll put a big one on the board right away.
