I’ve been using Edward Jones for 15 years and I can’t say enough good about them. I brought an amount near to what you’re saying and it’s doubled with no further contributions.

As a construction worker I’ve always said If it wasn’t for the NFL or the NBA we’d be building prisons instead of stadiums.

This morning in the Strib., which they’ve since edited, there’s a story about two bucks with their horns loked together.. The brilliant reporter wrote how the horns were cut free with the use of 2 chainsaws They were sawzalls. Oh,and that commercial, I said the same thing.

I’ve worked in the commercial construction industry for around 30 years. When I got my first cordless drill, I predicted that some day every thing would be cordless. Well, for the most part, that time has come. I worked for a short time on the Vikings stadium and the only ext. cords were for either lights, microwaves or plugging in chargers.

By a friend of mine years ago from John Lennons Instant Karma

    Instant Karmas gonna get you.

But he heard: Vincent the cop is gonna get you.

For the past 25 or so years I chuckle every time I hear it.

No, It’s about his tours of duty as a Seal Sniper and his life at home between tours. The part you mention is just a small, but important part . Go see the movie, it covers all human emotions a military person and their families can go through.

Wife and I saw it yesterday. Phenomenal! What really made him a hero to me was, he found ways to help other Vets. cope with life after War which also was therapy for him as well.

Was out yesterday afternoon. About 14″ of ice. The fish are out there and they are willing to bite. The problem is the place is one giant mud flat and you just had to be in the right place at the right time. A dead stick with a red hook and minnow caught the majority of the fish and all of the keepers. All we caught while jigging were 10″ or smaller, but we figured vibration brought them in. Did see one d#%n fool drive out in a full size truck. If you’ve got an ATV, you’ll want to use it because you have go out a good distance. Good luck.

Bottom line is we got a new manager and pitching coach and I liked Bruno as hitting coach. So, I’m going give them the benefit of the doubt. (well at least for the first month or so) For the most part, I’m pleased with the signings, so lets see. Got to be optimistic, it’s a new season.

I think Sano will be up sooner than later, so Plouffe will be good trade bait for a playoff contender. I’m tired of Mauer, but I just don’t see him going anywhere. My gut feeling is the Tigers are going tumble. I doubt last place but, who knows? Last years team was still Jim Leylands team and most good teams that change managers do good for a season or two and then start falling some. As far as last place, it’s the AL Central, so once again, who knows?

Mines at least 12 yrs. also. I bought a spare two years ago for just in case, but haven’t needed it yet. Don’t forget to put the plastic tabs back on the terminals after charging. I also have a volt meter to check them because I don’t trust the signal lights on the charger.

That’s a real interesting idea. I usually do pretty good with pan fish, but it’s always nice to have another weapon in the arsenal when it’s one of those days. Thanks JD

Watch out for Cracked heads. I had a 2000 4wd. Both cracked at about 50,000 mi. This was a common problem with this truck.

They have been on a bit of a roll lately. The best part of the weekend is Dick has the weekend off and Richard is in the booth with T.K.

I agree, I just don’t believe it can get fixed in Mn. or AAA. I like the kid, but I think he needs a change of scenery. Some times that is all it takes.

Arcia!!!!! Wow! What a shot. Hit it to Thome territory. Shortstop position I agree, is settled. I doubt w’ell see Florimone any time soon. I also don’t think Hicks has much of a future here. If a shortstop[Santana] plays the possition better, what chance does he have? Maybe he can be resurected some where else like Gomez. I don’t blame it on coaching, I blame it on lack of desire.

They have the #5 pick in the draft that begins at 5:00 today. There are several good pitchers that will probably be grabbed before they get their pick, so they’re expected to take a shortstop named Nick Gordon, brother of Dodger Dee Gordon. With the picks they’ve had the last couple years and what they’ve got in the Minors now ,they should be relevant soon. But , it is baseball, so who really knows.

Ain’t this better than the last few years? Nolasco, other then a couple of hick-ups, looked pretty good tonight. Willingham,s tumble was a pretty good laugh. Sounds like T.K.s gonna do the weekend. That as usual will be entertaining. It’s sure been fun watching them again. There’s always a chance they might pull it off.

I wouldn’t trade my 07 5.4 for no other truck. The stomp on power when passing while pulling the boat is incredible. Even at 103 thou., The mileage is still around 19+-.

Don’t get to say this very often, but the Twins are kicking the Yankees a$$!! I sure hope Hughes has a good day Sunday.

As far as the Feds. spying on me, all they would find is I love to fish, hunt and cook, been married for 37 years, have two successful sons, two beautiful grand children and I’m shopping for a new boat. So, if they catch some whack job planning to do harm to my country or family, so be it. I’ve got nothing to hide. As far as trying to take our guns, I really can’t see that happening, and if they did try, I’d really hate to see what might happen. I respect Snowden for doing what he thought was right, but as an American citizen, I believe he was wrong in how he handled it. Traitor is a strong accusation and if he is guilty of it, he should be punished accordingly.

Just bought some 832 from FF and they had a pair of scissors included.I guess some sort of promotion. I have the Rapala scissor now that I bought when I started using Fire Line and they work really good. The new ones seem to work as good. Not all the packages had them, so you might have to dig.

Started out a pretty good game until the last 2 innings, but I’ll take a sloppy win anytime after the last few years. I thought the best thing to come from this season would be the new commercial. I’ve seen it twenty times and chuckle every time. Painting lessons. HA!!!

I put mine away today. I use Stabil and 91 octane and then followed the owners manual. I’ve used Stabil for 10 years with good results. Most all modern gas operated equipment manufacturers suggest storing them with a partially filled tank of treated gas. AS far as Seafoam or Stabil, that argument still is still a debate on this Web sight.

I wear the terramar also. I just got in from plowing snow drifts out of my drive way with the wheeler wearing those and jeans [no bibbs] with a -18 degree wind chill. Mine are 2.0 and they kept me warm. Got them at Gander Mountain.

I do commercial plumbing construction we use DeWalt 20 v. lithium. We get the combo. drill and impact set. They are by far the best. I can go a whole day doing No Hub on one battery. I was so impressed, that I bought a set for myself from Lowes. As far as a corded sawzall, a Makita ATV is a beast. It’s a little heavier than a Milwaukee but that thing can cut.

I’d find as many ways possible to help our veterans. I’ve always thought highly of Gary Sinese [Lt. Dan] and his foundation.

One of the hottest jobs right now is welding. Pipe line and industrial is the where the demand is the most. Classes for it are not too long, but they are pretty intense. And a lot of the work requires you to live on the road. If you’re a young man or know a young fellow who wants a good future and good money, mention this to him. Union, Stand Together Or Stand Alone.
