I’ve had an FNP-9 for several years now and will put it up against anything else I’ve owned. I’m a lefty and shoot my pistols both left and right handed and have found the FN ambidextrous controls to be very shooter friendly. I keep thinking I want to change my holster pistol to something bigger or newer but have not tried anything that outperforms this durable semi with a 15 round magazine. Obviously this is just my opinion. Good Luck and shoot straight !

Thank you everyone for making me feel so welcome. I had a great time and met a lot of new friends. Definitely looking forward to doing this again!

We are working on 2 locations for Hotel/Motel recommendations. There are a lot in the area and very close by. Trying to achieve a budget orientated and a little nicer place if one chooses. Either way, we want to have fisherman friendly locations to stay at.
Hey Randy, I may have missed it but were you guys able to recommend any friendly mom and pop motels in the area?
Thanks,
IkeJanuary 21, 2013 at 4:06 pm #1133180Start with a big slow cooker because you can’t make too much, it freezes well in Ziploc. I use tomato puree as the base; couple big cans then a big can of tomato paste. I use tomato sauce and paste after that to get the thickness I like. I use whole and diced tomatoes together, light red kidney beans and plenty of chili powder otherwise its just tomato soup. Add chili powder stir and taste, keep doing that until it has the flavor you like. For heat use black pepper and sliced jalapeno. I add tablespoons of the jalapeno juice until the heats right. Brown your onions and ground beef together. I leave my beef in good size chunks for texture. I think the puree has made a big improvement in mine over the years. Have fun and good eating!

If you are looking for a rod to take the place of a spring bobber, I suggest a TUC noodle (tuned up custom rods). I will never fish a spring bobber again.
X2! Just used my TUC noodle for the first time today and it is awesome! I watched my friends mess with iced up spring bobbers while I was busy icing the slabs. just my 2 cents, but I couldn’t be happier. Call Andy at TUC and pick up one of the in stock rods he has, I think you’ll be happy and you couldn’t ask for better customer service
January 8, 2013 at 1:36 pm #1128128Yeah, trying a lot of different brands is the best way I know how to see what feels best; convincing my wife of that was a little trickier…
January 4, 2013 at 3:01 pm #1126783Excellent info and insights. Also, can I get a Dane County Park Permit at the parks?
January 3, 2013 at 1:02 am #1126284Do you guys just tie off a garbage bag in your portable or does someone out there have the perfect trash container for on the ice?

November 20, 2012 at 7:00 pm #1113652Thats just what I’m looking for. Thanks for posting the craigslist add, but its 6 hours to the twin cities for me and the way my Ford eats fuel I can’t imagine how much I’d end up spending! Thanks again.
November 19, 2012 at 8:07 pm #1113358Kruger had it on their website but when I called for shipping costs they said they sold out of them last week…
November 19, 2012 at 7:45 pm #1113350Go figure I would decide on an outdated model. Thanks for the info guys.
October 5, 2012 at 6:08 am #1103099Thanks for the info. I’ll go sit in a few and see what feels the best. I’m sure everyone has their own ideas of what is the best so it was probably a loaded question to begin with…
