Prime rib is the ticket. Then if you make enough, there are prime rib omelets for breakfast with prime rib hash. And for dinner there’s prime rib fajitas. Fantastic all around.

Carry a bucket of sand mixed with coarse salt. It might even provide enough ballast to give you traction before you get stuck.

My mother was driving from Illinois to German Fest , at the Summerfest grounds in Milwaukee. I believe we were on the 100 and a down pour was in progress. Visibility went to near zero so she slammed on the brakes and came to a complete stop in the traffic lane. I covered my head and waited to die. Fortunately I am
still here to tell about it.

Moss likes acidic soil. Rake in a little lime before seeding.

That would effectively apply to the entire Mississippi Flyway!!!

We live on the Winona/Houston County line. Wandering flocks of turkeys used to contain 20-30 individuals. Now I occasionally 4-5. But I will say there are less rabbits and squirrels than in years past. In my neighborhood, I attribute it predation by coyotes, feral cats, and the eratic spring weather the last few years.

Tools are only as useful as their users. Rakes CAN cause damage but they don’t HAVE TO cause damage.. Happy New Year.

We use a roof rake for heavy accumulations and heat tape to prevent ice build up. With three foot overhangs, no amount of insulation would resolve that problem. But vent chutes and foam above the top plates are a good add-on.

We had this problem a few years ago. Our septic had the old asphalt tile pipe connecting house to tank and tank to drain field. There was a partial collapse between the tank and house. This allowed flow but greatly reduced flow. Snaking cleared the line but it would slowly clog as not enough flow existed to run everything out. Within a few weeks the problem returned. Digging outside and replacing the section solved the problem. We also installed an exterior clean out to access the pipe without a long snake. After several years, I’m considering cutting and capping this pipe so I can eliminate two pvc stacks in the yard. Good luck.

People have been indoctrinated to be guided by their feelings (easy to influence) and not their objective rationality (very hard to influence or control).

The tribes are retreating behind their walls and defend their side. Dialogue is prohibited. Take my side or eat sh*t and die.

We live across the road from a rookery. Cranes, geese, ducks, are as much a part of the daily symphony as is the farmer across the valley when he’s spreading. It’s sad when you move to the country then need to make more like the city. All this is in kind jest.

Let me ask this, have you ever drug a hose across wet grass, freshly mowed, or gravel. Try cleaning those accordion hoses after use. Maybe that doesn’t apply to you. Just my thoughts.

It’s happened to me. I hope you get over that deep gut punch feeling. Karma will find this guy. You might print a flier and pass it around some of the local taverns. More than likely he will be trying to dump them fast for a few bucks. Good luck.

If you reserved with a credit card, I would contact them and explore if this charge was made through a fraudulent link to a web site and if they agree, the charge may be cancelled and a flag go to server. At least relate your story to them.
    If not, lesson learned.

Oh, I never book third party Call (Telephone) the hotel directly, book through the desk, and beat everbodies’ price.

It’s been a few years but my Wisconsin boat came with a Shorelander trailer, no apparent numbers. It was registered in Minneota as “home-made” without problem .Good luck.

Did it last week. I have a in-line fuel filter downstream of the squeeze bulb. I disconnected the fuel line, three pumps and I had a siphon. Worked beauutifully.

Agree. These discussions go nowhere. Recently saw a thread about a private TSA staffed by ex military in all schools. I like it.

I say you are employing the same “click bait” formula all the fake story folks use. Getting tired of it.

Lost weight and then my ring. Only it was lost 200 miles from home and I’m not sure exactly where.

I have a Garrett 250 and really like it. I found a silver quarter once and mostly junk otherwise. It’s fun along shoreline. I find lead sinkers often.

It doesn’t say where the cams are. I can see their reasoning. Wouldn’t want lawn chairs and a popcorn concession under it.
