I would reccomend the Remington 870 Express. Its an all around great gun and has been around for years and seems to not have any problems. as for shooting over 200 yards that is kind of hard to do with a slug gun.

From what we are learning here at school at UW-Stevens Point is that it is to stop the double dipping. The landowners are getting a tax break to begin with. There are two MFL sections, one is closed, and the other which is open to public. When the people are leasing, they are usually doing this on the land that is closed to the public, but they are still recieving a tax break but just not as big. The double dipping is what it hurting us all. Sucks for those landowners but then again they screwed us all out of our own tax dollars and hunting dollars. Glad to see this is being stopped

I am from Wisconsin so I have been hunting over here but we have definitly been laying the smackdown on them. 42 geese in three hunts. The snow was amazing. Nothing better than shooting geese over the snow with GHG dekes

Hi Josh, I dont know how far you are willing to travel but I live in Rice Lake WI, which is about 2 hours from the twin cities. Our dog just came into heat here this week and we are planning on breeding her with the same dog we breed her with two years ago. Our female is proffesionally trained by John Flink and is aimed towards waterfowl hunting, the male is trained also by flink more aimed towards upland game. We got many good comments from people about our last dogs for hunting as well as great family dogs. If you want more information on some of these give my dad a call at 715-205-4454 or 715-234-1620. He will give you more info that you would want to know. They are both yellow labs. Let me know if you need to know anything else. If not good luck and have fun with your new dog

Yeah the goose hunting is great right now. We have been stacking em up here at school. The last three times out accounted for 42 dead geese. 10 one morning, 12 the next, and then we decided we wanted to take ten guys out to shoot 20 birds and it took us all of an hour in the fresh snow. I wish we had a late season five bag limit like Minnesota.. What does an out of state license cost there and when does the late season start/end??
