How will you see big walleyes with a 2″ slot? Is this tournament catch, photo, release?

Moonshine is illegal because it is illegal to distille alcohol. If it is done wrong, it can produce methel alcohol, which would kill the customers. Also, it has to do with taxes. Of course, this whole situation makes for good television according to the producers.

Crawlerharness, were you around Lake Pepin this weekend? I met someone there that wanted access to my boat. I told him NO and will never give in to these wanna be’s. I don’t care what the Minnesota Supreme court says, this is an illegal search. That ruling they made will stand for now, but when someone takes it further, they will be proven wrong. If not, then the whole country is in trouble.

Yesterday I watched two different boats put into Lake Pepin with water coming out of their bilge as they were backing down the ramp. Both had just been checked by these DNR people. Obviously they did a great job conducting their search. If this is the quality of the work being done by these DNR helpers, then do you really need to ask why we don’t want you in our boats?

He is starting his own advertising and promotion business along with some guiding. He will still be doing the videos. His plans are to work with all of the resorts.

These are definitely illegal in Minnesota.

I think Full Throttle is the biggest joke in tournament fishing. Worst run group around. Tried it once. Cancelled the tournament with no information release. Wasted vacation time and income with nothing more than “I’m sorry, I thought I let everyone know.”

I’m a little confused. I fished a tournament on Little Pine by Perham that was catch and release. I just read about a tournament on Lake Reno by Alexandria that was catch and release. Is this DNR rule for certain areas of Minnesota? Can someone provide a link that shows the rule? Something doesn’t add up.

Hopefully you have learned how to manage your communication skills better. After signing up for one of your events last year, spending several hundred dollars and numerous vacation days on prefishing, we didn’t hear about the cancellation until three minutes before the Friday night meeting. If an event is to be cancelled, ALL participants need to be notified. I’ve since found other tournaments to participate in. Hopefully you figure things out before it’s too late.

I am a dedicated Vikings fan. Always have been and always will be until they move. I thought they made a huge mistake last year going after Favre. This year is an even bigger mistake. I’ll still watch them and anxiously wait for the next chapter. Favre was a good quarter back as long as he had the right players around them. Daunte was a good quarter back with the right players also.

I’m not sure which brand Menard’s sells, but I have done 3 trucks with Herculiner and they all held up great. I would use it again. I currently have a Bedrug, but will be going back to Herculiner next time.

I have the same motor and had the same problem. My mechanic told me that you can safely back of the oil mark up to 1/8 of an inch. The rod that connects the this to the carbs must be snapped off and lengthened some.

I’ll second that it looks like a Dodge and the rims definitely look like factory rims.

Now if they would only make a smaller size. Then it would be time to try them.

The screws should pull right through the carpet. I replaced a small piece in my boat and screwed through the carpet. If you know where the screws are, you can find them. Otherwise, they are hidden. You could also use the big head pop rivets through the carpet like Lund used to do.

I had a jack$$$ come into my yard and take water out of a spigot. I asked him why he could not ask for water instead of just taking it. The guy tells me he does not have to ask for water because its free every where, So I tell him to get the hell off my property, and then arrogant pr!!k says he does not have leave. So I grabbed him by the neck and forced him off my property. HERE IS THE KICKER! he calls the police, they come to my door and threaten me saying that I could get arrested for aggravated assualt.WHERE THE HE#!
ARE MY RIGHTS HERE! it didn’t matter they let the guy walk,

I can safely say that had someone tried that in my yard I would have called the police first and told them I feared for my life. Then I would have let them know I was going for my gun. After that you just sit back and wait for all hell to break lose. After that you can press trespass charges. Unfortunately once you grabbed the guy, you were in the wrong. Had he touched you first, you could do almost anything to protect yourself.

I would look at the Fenwick Elite Tech slip bobber rod. It is 7’7″, medium tip, and good back bone. I got one last year and will be adding another this year.

Until I looked at the ad, I honestly thought you were referring to Ike from the bait shop. Now that I know which Ike, I completely agree about the most hated part. When I see him on a fishing show, I find a new channel.

I did some checking about how things were years ago and found some interesting facts. Each county seat had several offices that did the same thing, only in different languages. Immigrants would go to the proper office to get the right start. After they got the information in their language, they could start their new life here and begin to learn our language. Nowadays, we don’t have these offices for the immigrants. They seem to have little or no interest in learning our language. Unfortunately, if you go to their country, you have to adjust to their ways. We have just made it too easy for them do what they want how they want to.
I agree with informing about alternative products to use in place of lead.
I think the language thing is just another way to make it easier for these people to try to avoid change.

The Players Championship, then you could afford to try the fishing tournaments.

The e-mail was the link on his site. If that is wrong, I don’t know what else to do. If they are not going to check their e-mail, then don’t have the address available.

I’m not nieve by any means, so don’t go trying to put me in my place.

Unless you can give a name, a date, a time, and a place that that happened, its only hearsay, and that is not the real world.

I’m not trying to start an arguement. Every person I have heard this from is a first hand account. Several have reported it, each time with nothing done about it. You can believe what you want. I choose to believe these people, boycott all casinos, and reservation based businesses. The only way any of this will ever change is if all sportsmen ban together, convince the legislators to fight for change, and cut all ties with reservation based businesses.

If you believe the walleye harvested in Mille Lacs are for sustenance only, you are very trusting. I know of many people that have been approached over the last couple of years and offered “fresh” walleye to purchase. Everyone of the “salesmen” were native people. You go on believing they don’t sell what they catch, I’ll live in the real world.

Unless you are needing a lot of extra line, I would stick with Sealine 17’s. They work great and are a lot lighter than the 27’s. I’ve used them heavily for a few years and never had a problem.

Shaley, this boat has been for sale for a while on several sites. If he is a motivated seller, he would be lowering his price by now. Great looking boat and not a bad price, but a lower offer is worth a call.

The main reason that clothes are front and center is profit. The margins on clothes are at least twice as much as tackle and closer to three times as much as guns. These stores would never make it if they put the high profit goods in the back. I agree that I would like to get in and out but bottom line is bottom line. Every one of these stores has it’s good points and bad points. I visited the Maple Grove store over the weekend and can’t say anything bad about it. I also visited the Roger’s Cabelas and thought the selection and service were horrible. I like Fleet Farm and Scheels and the rest are just places to visit.

Why do we watch these guys every year just to be disappointed in the end? Unfortunately, the game took the wrong turn and the end of the first half and never recovered. I guess there is always next year.

We have been staying on Sand Lake, north of Winnibigoshish, for several years. The fishing has been great in early June every year. Last year we had several 75 plus fish days and every day was over 50 fish. I agree that Upper Red Lake would be great, but if your wife doesn’t like rough water, you could be in trouble. If the wind is out of the west, it gets rocking pretty fast.
