I’m so happy to hear that he’s doing well. Kids are amazing and we can all learn so much from them in regard to attitude. I’ve never met Kaden but he inspires me along with his parents.
X2 Glad to hear he is doing good!
X3!
X4!December 16, 2011 at 9:11 pm #116893Sorry to hear about this Bob. I hope you find the culprit and prosecute!!!
December 12, 2011 at 5:51 pm #116692I’ve had similar things happen to me this season. Keep putting in the time and it will pay off! Good Luck Brad!
December 12, 2011 at 5:39 pm #116691It’s great to hear the good news! I’m praying for a speedy recovery for the little one!
Prayers are sent for your niece “flatfish”!
December 1, 2011 at 3:18 am #116019Todders is spot-on! When I was a teacher & coach I was part of many fundraisers. It seemed that the easiest, least invasive, and most supported fundraisers involved food (i.e. spaghetti feasts, grill feasts, buffet feasts, wild game feasts…). Creative games and/or fun events that involve the entire family have also proven to be successful (i.e. donkey basketball, llama runs, “educational” gambling…).
The secret in getting people to take action and help is to offer them something that they want, need, or like. Furthermore, if you can find something that people want, need, AND like you’re in business!
Good Luck!December 1, 2011 at 2:54 am #116015More good news – Miracles do happen!!! They are confident they removed the entire tumor, and best yet, it was benign! It was a pilocytic astrocytoma so Austin will not need kimo/radiation! Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers for my little nephew – I truly believe in the power of hope! He will be in the rehabilitation unit at Mayo for the next couple of weeks to regain functions of his right side. He will also be continuing tests in the months to come to make sure it’s all gone & stays gone…
November 26, 2011 at 5:10 pm #115649Surgery went well! They removed a tennis ball sized tumor deep within his frontal lobe. Today he will undergo his 4th MRI so they can see if they got it all. We should know if the tumor is cancerous or not by Tuesday.
He’s a tough little guy! Thank you all for the prayers and support!
November 14, 2011 at 2:49 am #114633Thank you all for the prayers and support! Dad’s back at home and recovering well!
He will be going to Mayo in Rochester next week for more tests – hopefully finding out what’s going on…
Thanks again!

It’s not something I would shoot but if it makes the hunter happy – congrats to him!
I’m with ya Brad!
November 6, 2011 at 5:13 pm #11402112 different bucks yesterday with 9 before 9 am. 3 shooters – one being 190+! No quality shot opportunities but one of my best days out!
5 different bucks so far today – one being a heavy 12 that was coming in until 2 does stole him.November 3, 2011 at 3:36 pm #113798Quote:
heading up there tomorrow for a long weekend as well. The best piece of advice I have for hunting coulee country is to pay attention to the wind and thermals. If you’ve never hunted that sort of terrain, you can easily get yourself into an area that looks awesome but the swirling winds make it nearly impossible to hunt. Good luck!
X2 Good Luck!
