    Hey Phil,

I just sent you a friend request. I will be going out to the Croix this weekend and may have an open seat. Get back to me with your number on a private message and I will keep you in mind for this Friday or Saturday. Keep in mind that Sturgeon season will be over by the weekend, however catfish eat the same thing a Sturgeon, so we will actually be “catfishing”.

Yea the sucky part is I didn’t get one bite…….same bait no more than 50 foot apart. It was comical, he was sleeping on the boat and I would wake him up when his line would go off. Got so bad that he asked me if I wanted to reel one In So I could see what if felt like…..WFT ……Jesse’s guide serice. He was running out of worms I had to tell him “you got big balls if you think your using My worms.

I’ve been on the Miss up here in Coon rapids about 6 times this spring. I caught one 7lbs channel on March 30th and that’s the only one. I did manage to get 3 carp and one sucker on worms, other than that it’s been slow. I have had a lot of fun with my new 998 hd si, I have scanned the entire west bank from Anoka bridge to the Dam, lots of cool stuff in the river.

I just put a Humminbird 998c hd si on the boat, and told the wife that I will catch WAY more fish. She’s wondering why I don’t come home with fish…..

Also I was seeing large arches at 85ft where it starts to come up fast. Is this Sturgeon?

My friends say that my boat is Jesse’s guide service… everyone but me catches fish on my boat. So if your working the net, that means that im catching the fish.

Little known fact, Jesse lives in Robbinsdale near the Golden Valley boarder. Jesse also has an open seat here and there.

Sorry Doug I already sold it. We still have to hook up this year. I have yet to catch a big flathead. I think I have to spend more time on the MN over by Jordan Belle Plaine.

I think that having a few boats up there will add to the safety factor and always makes for more fun at the campfire.
