Much thought was put into what the LX-7 manual should include, and how it should be delivered. In keeping with the digital, progressive nature of the product, Marcum made the decision to not include a manual with the unit, but instead to provide an online manual. This document will grow with the unit, continually improving to keep up with the new features and functionality available with subsequent updates.

I called shorlandr directly and they gave me a part number, then I ordered it through a local marine shop in my town, it was delivered to my house two days later, and was 260 with shipping. Took all of 45 minutes to install.

March 15, 2011 at 1:38 am #947166I know this might turn into a pissing match, but I like the Johnny Morris reels. Especially in that price range. I’ve got 3 and haven’t had any problems. Only thing is, you should have bought last friday cause they had em marked down to $80. The reels do only have a 14 lb. drag system. So depending on the size of northerns you plan on catching, you might look for something else. But they haven’t let me down yet.
