The best way to be involved with Bitcoin is to set up a bitcoin wallet.

    I use Coinbase.

    Very easy.

    Here is a link https:

    https://www.coinbase.com/join/57b7cc09a01b69010d6ddb86

I made a very small investment into Bitcoin 2 years ago.

Have bought plane tickets directly with Bitcoin.

You can spend directly out of your Bitcoin wallet at Coinbase.

Bitcoin will be very established when it is used for commerce by regular folks.

    Yesterday I forgot my jacket.

    It was relatively warm out….

Did a quick set up and less searching for the best spot…..

    Just an idea.

    How old is your Showdown?

They are a bit sensitive to battery voltage.

Mine was acting very funky… not reading……no access to some menus….. couldn’t see the jig……etc.

I measured the battery voltage right after I got it off the charger. 10.67 volts.

I went to Thorne Bros and bought a new Marcum battery.

Bingo all the issues were gone.

Have used it for two fishing trips since. Works as it should.

    Regards,

    Scott

Maybe just in my area 30 min west of you but birds are being shot as well as being seen, lotsa mid day activity, that said ya the numbers are way down but it doesn’t take them long to recover.

James you mirrored my thoughts completely. Went out today….very slow…..non active bite. Still had a great time getting on the ice. Temperature was wonderful.

I gonna guess the the registration numbers will be down and some units will increase the number of deer shot so the antlerless permits will be lowered in that unit, that said it will be handy for the hunter can’t wait to get stopped with a deer that was called in and the warden has to verify it

Not sure if my experience will take away some of your anxiety. We had a springer spaniel that lived to 13 yrs. Hunted hard, great family dog.

Had seizures since he was 2. Took phenobarbital every day for the rest of his life with apparently no ill effect. Even while on the meds he still would seizure about twice a year.

When you have less oil in the mix the motor runs richer. Just speaking of the fuel running through the carb. Less oil = more gas. Might make the unit run better on really cold days.

The Jiffy with the Stealth blades absolutely sings through the ice.

I’ve got sort of an old school Jiffy made the last year a Techumseh motor was used. Stealth STX blades, 9″, 2 HP.

Motor warms up easily and auger cuts fast.

You will have to get a wi non res small game license, if you buy it in march you will get 2 crow hunts out of it ie. this years and the one in march of next year. the license expire in march. I suppose you could hunt in mn under your license but you’d need a wi license to register your birds, you have to go by wi laws which means there is a limit of 15 crows per person

Congrats! great way to start the new year, any late season deer is a bonus, shot placement is always the key and a recurve must make it that more special!

Take the 243, you might as well use your shotgun if you plan on the 30-30
